– Area Activities –
We have more rivers and streams than we can count. Glacier National Park, with an abundance of wilderness and wildlife, is a short drive away. The Bob Marshall Wilderness Area, Jewel Basin, the Flathead National Forest are all nearby. Bigfork’s very own Nature Trail begins right on the edge of town and winds along the “Wild Mile” of the Swan River — a short walk from the cottages. There’s a good reason Bigfork has become a premier destination in the Northwest. Our village offers some of the finest dining, shopping, and gallery hopping you will find anywhere. Plus, there is our nationally-recognized Bigfork Summer Playhouse that stages performances six days a week. The Village of Bigfork is on the Flathead Lake, the largest, natural freshwater lake west of the Mississippi River.

“What a charming place to stay! Our cottage was lovely and we enjoyed sitting on the deck listening to the river in the evening. Within walking distance to many great restaurants and shops. We even enjoyed a musical at the local playhouse. We had an amazing time.” – Orbitz Reviewer
